President's Message
President's Message:

As I reflect on our chapter's journey this past year, I'm filled with genuine pride and appreciation for what we've accomplished together. Our NABIP Treasure Valley family has shown remarkable dedication, resilience, and compassion throughout a year of both challenges and triumphs.
Celebrating Our Achievements
I want to sincerely thank each of our 150+ members who contribute to making this chapter exceptional. Together, we've achieved so much:
- Hosted 9 valuable member meetings and a half-day seminar offering CE credits, creating opportunities for professional growth and connection
- Made a meaningful difference in our community by raising $17,000 for City Light charity, $3,870 for Idaho COBS, and $10,500 for the Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline
- Advanced our advocacy efforts during Idaho Day on the Hill, with the valuable support of our lobbyist Benn Brocksome
Navigating Change Together
Our industry continues to evolve and our association is at the forefront, working hard to advocate for our members and our clients, working to ensure access to healthcare. Through these changes, our chapter has remained a steady resource, providing timely education and support to help members navigate this evolving landscape with confidence.
Looking Forward: Our Path Ahead
As we move into the coming year, I'm excited about our focus on several key priorities:
- Enhancing Education: Building on our strong foundation of professional development to provide even more valuable learning opportunities
- Strengthening Advocacy: Continuing our important work to protect both our profession and the clients who depend on us
- Raising Awareness: Launching initiatives to help the public better understand the essential role agents play in navigating the complex world of benefits and insurance
- Deepening Community Impact: Expanding our charitable activities and finding new ways to serve the Treasure Valley
- Supporting Member Success: Providing resources and connections to help each member thrive professionally
Your Involvement Makes a Difference
The strength of our chapter comes from your participation. I warmly invite you to:
- Attend our monthly meetings and educational events
- Join us for our charitable activities
- Consider taking on a leadership role that matches your interests and strengths
- Share your expertise through a presentation or panel discussion
- Invite colleagues to experience the benefits of NABIP membership
I feel truly fortunate to work alongside such dedicated professionals. Every day, the work you do makes a meaningful difference in people's lives by helping them secure their health, financial, and retirement needs. I look forward to the year ahead and all we'll accomplish together!
With warm regards,
Marcia Benton President, NABIP Treasure Valley Chapter
